When Andy takes over the lease on her friend Ethan's apartment, he warns her about his roommate, Tragan. I LOVED THIS BOOK! :)Andy, who has a serious auto-immune disease, takes over a friends lease to attend a drug study for her illness. Tragan is a sexy construction worker who is suddenly stuck with a female roommate after his roomie Ethan moves to London.
The sexual chemistry between these two is sizzling and very well written. I read the book in the middle of the night and was about half way through within a couple of hours... fell asleep only to dream of Tragan LOL The book moves really fast .... after waking up I dove right back into the book and was done in a couple hours.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves romance novels. Constructing Us was fast paced, romantic, steamy, funny, cute and a really fun read :)

Endearing love story with very likable characters. I'm totally in love with Tragan!! Andy was a sweetheart and deserved to find love. Another plus was the heat level. This author really knows how to write a sex scene. Scenes with Tragan and Andy were super hot! I loved this book.
Loved this book. No stupid misunderstandings. No tortured souls. A feel good romance with loads of steamy sex. Perfect book.

This book has a typical beauty and the beast storyline, but there is more to it. Yes, there are hot and steamy sex scenes that will make you go ooh la la. Then, there's also the ongoing mystery of the heroine's illness. I love this part of the book because I have a close family member who has been fighting a chronic illness for years, and I can relate to Andy's frustration with a mysterious immune disease. I am looking forward to reading more works from Lake in the future!
Don't waste your time
Lake does an amazing job of developing real characters with real issues. You can't help but feel connected to Andy and Tragan.
I love the friction between the two in the beginning but once they get to know one another, then it's a whole lot of gooood friction!
hey, if you love a good ole love story with great twist and coming over adversities without getting too melodramatic, then this is a great read for you! get it!!!!
I really enjoyed this book! Andy and Tragan have so much chemistry and their love scenes are hot! Tragan is super sexy and it was sweet how much he loved her. While Andy's disorder is intriguing, I liked that Lake didn't let it turn this book into a melodrama. Also, I thought Tragan's friends were funny. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun and steamy love story!
