Overall great story, a little slow in middle (got confused on what Henny's problem was) but once it picked up I really enjoyed it. They had a great friendship but once they slept together a whole lot of feelings came in to play. Bet was a strong character, loved her and Henny was hot and sexy. Would recommend this book, great story.
I love friends-to-lovers stories, and this one totally fit the bill. Henny was a doll; Bex was a little stubborn but super-solid. Their doubts about whether becoming lovers would undermine the friendship they so valued seemed really real. I also liked the fact that Henny and Bex seemed like regular people, people who lived down the street from you when growing up... but with some smoking chemistry. Great hockey romance!
Henny and Bex have been friends forever. They grew up together and shared so many memories together. Bex hit a snag in her life that brings her back to Buffalo and Henny is having all sorts of issues on and off the ice that are sending his game in a downward spiral. A suspension and a bottle of tequila are just the push they need to step out of the friend zone. But it takes them a little while to fully get out of their own way. Work out their issues and let their HEA shine.

Two long time best friends since elementary school have been looking out for each other during the good an the bad struggles in their lives . Until recently she had her life ripped out from under her completely an deviated beyond repair waiting for it to all to come to a end . That is how he found her shattered an lost so he takes her back home to heal an help her get her life back together again . This moment changes both their lives forever . 18+
I was really looking forward to Henny's story after meeting him in Naughty or Ice, and I wasn't disappointed! He's such a loveable man, that you just can't help but like him. And his and Bex's friendship was so solid and strong that you knew it could hold up to anything. I liked Bex, but there were times I wanted to smack her up side her head! She thought she knew what was best, but she was really just acting like a scared little girl. Don't want to give anything away, so you'll just have to read to find out!!
Bex & Henny (Rebecca & Kyle) have been friends since they were 5 yrs old. Now, at 30, they wake up in bed together after a wild night with too much tequila. This starts them on a wonderful journey of discovery & forgiveness as these 2 find out what all their friends already know about them.
I thoroughly loved this story. It's written in 3rd person, refreshing after so much 1st person stories these days. Bex is strong, but unsure of herself. Kyle has his own monsters to resolve.The sexy scenes are well done & they just about broke my heart before getting their HEA.

Hockey players and a sweet friends to lovers romance count me in! I really enjoyed Henny and Beks' story. Life long friends coming to grips with their just discovered sexual awareness of each other and the reality that they are IN LOVE with each other. The story of how they work through all of the new feelings while cherishing everything they already are makes for a great book. I can't forget to mention the steam coming off these two is enough to warm you on ANY cold Buffalo winter night! This is the second book in the Buffalo Tempest series and you do not have to read the first but the characters from Naughty or Ice, add to this story and the sense of family you get from hockey teams. I can't wait to see if there will a third book to this series but I hope so because I be sure to purchase it!
